I like this page ok.

Dee's tattoos are drawings my friend Neil did. He draws like a sexy MF and I asked him to do some stuff for me for a tattoo. He gave me about 5. Three are on Dee. The one on her forearm is on my shoulder. Later on I drew the tatoos myself but here I used the actual drawings and layered it in Photoshop. WAY too much time. I've been weaning myself off of Photoshop as much as I can since I started. Not to knock Photoshop. It's a tool as useful as any other. But these were the first comics pages I had done in 7 years and the available technology was tempting! I realize now, for me, getting as much done on the page as I can works best. Whether I'm using white paint or cutting and pasting on top of the board, I do my best. I do save things that will be easier to do in Photoshop for later. Like centering a block of text. But more and more I'm measuring my success by how little Photoshop I do. It's all about fine-tuning that comics intuition!!
